Romantic settings to pop the question

Listen up guys, you’ve got to put plenty of thought into a marriage proposal, a few slurred words after a night out in your local simply doesn’t cut the mustard I’m afraid. This momentous moment in your life takes planning and it requires the right setting, get these two elements wrong and bang goes the one chance you had to make the proposal perfect.

We can supply you with a gorgeous engagement ring at HS Jewellers and provide the weddings bands too. Plus we have a few suggestions if you are struggling to think of places to pop the question, choose any of these settings and she’ll be putty in your hands.

Paris – Pop the question in Paris, climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower, make reservations for the tower restaurant (book way in advance to secure a table) or take a romantic stroll around one of the most romantic cities in the world and when you feel like the setting is right, get down on one knee and woo that lovely lady with your pre-planned proposal to avoid getting tongue-tied.

Venice – Go for it on a gondola! Let the magic and romance of Italy wash over you as you gently make your way around the waterways of Venice. It’s steeped in history, breath-taking by day and beautiful by night, how can you possibly go wrong on a weekend away in such a romantic setting.

On a beach – Sit on a beach as the sun slowly drops from the sky, let the sky turn pink, turn to your girlfriend and tell her she means the world to you and you want to spend the rest of your life with her. Gosh, we’re gushing!

By a waterfall – Speaking of gushing there’s something magical about a waterfall, why do you think so many couples are engaged by the Niagara Falls? You don’t have to visit Ontario, Canada to pop the question though, pack a backpack, find a waterfall closer to home and sneak a bottle of champagne along to celebrate.

Your choice – Come on, use your imagination and think of a unique setting for a proposal that hasn’t been used before. Sometimes the setting is irrelevant, it’s how you word the proposal that’s important. Think of a setting that means something special to your girlfriend or a place she has always wanted to go and whatever you do, don’t forget to take the engagement ring along!
